Briefly about Superhuman Era Manga:
If someone told you that “Superman” really exists in this world, would you believe it? Every time a monster appears, a student–or at least looks like a student with superpowers–kills the monster.
But… who exactly is this hero? And where did these “others” come from? Wow, it’s like they improved all the good parts of soliloquy and threw out all the badasses. I like the emphasis on characters, in that sense it’s like reading OPM for the first time or Kangan Asura, where the characters and fights are just as awesome.
I’ve never felt so much empathy for the characters, though maybe it’s my mood, but it’s still a good read.
Every 10th chapter gets better and better. I think the most interesting plot began with the 100th chapter or so. Who’s thinking about reading or not, my assessment is this. This is a legendary piece of work, not a slag that got undeservedly high marks like the lion’s share of titles on this site. I’d give it a solid 9/10 and start reading as soon as 150 chapters come out.
