Briefly about One Punch-Man (ONE) Manga:

Follows the life of a hero who manages to win all battles with only one punch. This ability seems to frustrate him as he no longer feels the thrill and adrenaline of fighting a tough battle, which leads to him questioning his past desire to be strong.

You’ve already read a lot of combat genres, you’re tired of watching heroes defending their friends while saving the world, you’re tired of many clichés and flashback to flashback during the battle. If you’re sick of it all and want something new this is the manga for you. In fact, it makes a mockery of most of the clichés and monotonous characters.

The protagonist isn’t shouting at the top of his lungs that he’ll protect his friends, that he wants revenge, that he wants to get stronger. Our G.G. Saitama is a bald dude in a funny suit, but he has incredible strength to finish fights with 1 punch. And the rest of the characters are awesome and interesting.

It can be surprising at times that the author reveals common and rather trivial things in every 2 pieces, but he reveals them from a completely different perspective. Shows how rotten the character system is sometimes. Other manga have plenty of that, but it looks different here.

The drawing doesn’t compare to Muratowski’s, but at times it looks very impressive and the fights look very lively.
