During his university years, Hayato, immersed in the virtual reality game FINAL KINGDOM, suffers setbacks in his job search. Although he once finds a part-time job, he still quits because of low pay.
Now unemployed, Hayato aims to get rich by selling items in the real world that he’s obtained through the game FINAL KINGDOM, which he’s addicted to as a student. But reality turned out to be much harsher. A busy day awaited him, in which he had to fit his normal, everyday life and mind-blowing grind, earning just enough to barely make ends meet.
But one day, Hayato accidentally wanders into a secret dungeon where the soul of Ikesaki Kokone, the game master who created FINAL KINGDOM, rests. Hayato frees Kokone’s soul and, with her support, goes through many of the game’s difficult content that were previously inaccessible to him and helps her regain her lost memory. Thus begins Hayato’s new life, in which he must overcome countless difficulties.
