Guyver

Briefly about Guyver Manga:

Guyver was created by aliens calling themselves “Uranos” (Creators) for an experimental purpose. Almost all aliens used a special bio-armor as a protective system, a spacesuit. They were constantly in this armor, which apparently gave them not only protection, but also some special features. The creators decided to test what would be the reaction to the connection of the armor with humans. A test Zoanoids (Zoanoids are genetically altered humans who can transform into strong and powerful monsters) was created to test the attacking. And defensive abilities of the armor in humans.

The human was quickly able to deal with the test Zoanoids, chopping them to pieces with the high-frequency blades that were part of the bio-armor. At first this pleased the aliens: they had no idea that the man’s abilities would be so enhanced. The human would become about ten times stronger than the Makers who wore the bio-armor. The Creators decided that the experiment was successful and ordered the man to remove the bio-armor. But instead, the human fired a mega-destroyer at one of the creators’ ships. The aliens aimed several Zoanoids at the man in order to destroy him, but he was able to handle those Zoanoids with ease as well.

Then the aliens sent Alcanfel, the Zoalord who controlled all the Zoanoids. And gave him Remover, a device capable of removing human armor. Alkanfel effortlessly removed the man’s armor and destroyed him. The aliens saw this power of a man combined with bio-armor as a danger to themselves. They assumed that if the armor was worn not by a human. But, for example, by the Alkanfel himself, he would be able to resist them. Then they decided to leave Earth. They named the human combined with the armor Guyver, which in alien language means “Uncontrollable”, “Out of Control”, because they could not subdue Guyver to their will, just as they had subdued the Zoanoids. For special reasons, the release of the manga was suspended.

Sho and his friend, Tetsuro, stumble upon a strange orb-like mechanism, the Guyver Unit, in the woods. It physically bonds with Sho and turns him into the alien soldier, Guyver. His mission is to protect the Guyver Unit from the Japanese corporation known as Chronos. They are after it and two other units just like it. To retrieve the object, they send out vicious monsters known as Zoanoids. So no one is safe in Sho’s life; not even himself.
