The heroine has no plans for “great revenge” as a superpower per se, but has a brain and a calm character.A very, very interesting plot. There’s a cheating fiancé, and it’s not all easy with the cheating, either. And the main character’s fate is difficult. A lot has been through. And now, the long-awaited rebirth. But we won’t see any revenge, as in Villain with an hourglass.
No special intrigue or plotting as in The Duke’s Bride, for example. The villains are as simple as old shoes. The main male character is handsome, rich and noble, while the main character embroiders handkerchiefs best, is modest, intelligent and great at running an estate. And of course she loves cakes and pastries, where would she go without it. And shy about what she eats in front of the Duke.
When are female characters going to be allowed to eat food other than cakes and not be embarrassed about it?) I felt like I looked at the world through the eyes of a 10-year-old child who doesn’t really think about the feelings of the people around him. And he doesn’t really think about his own actions. Because all of the heroine’s experiences and simple descriptions of those around her don’t look at all convincing.
Nevertheless, this can be considered the hallmark of this work. People with this kind of character exist, and they should like it. Aside from the above, the artwork is well drawn and the plot is generally interesting.
