The anime is based on an early book, the manga is almost based on an early book.
Series 1-5 of the anime are chapters 0-4.2 of the manga, 6 series anime – 6 chapters of the manga.
Episode 7 – 5 chapters (some things omitted) + beginning of chapter 7
Some of the manga chapters are missing from the 8th and 9th episodes. There are, of course, references to the manga that allow us to track down what’s been added. For example, the manga chapter 7.1 page 6 is the beginning of series 9 after the opening sequence.
I liked the manga better, though. A half-naked, brutal grandfather with a mega. Mega sexy yandere goddess… What an awesome first impression that was back then, especially of his mom. She’s mega sexy!!! And daddy’s not bad either! And in the anime… They even changed the image of the grandfather to some regular bearded man… I’m not even talking about the goddess, where’s the sexy yanderer with the cocktail glass!!! WHERE!!! Totally disappointed in the anime and delighted in the manga!
I’m not sure what to make of it, but I’ve been thinking about it for a long time now. I can’t even imagine if the character of the MC is different from the one in the anime (cold, calculating, sober-minded) even realizing what he’s presented. There is a kind of silence and calmness to the character without suffering and rushing from minion to minion. He has a tendency to create a kind of bond between them and their female counterparts. If in the manga he’s an infantile wanker but why all this. Someone explain soberly about the MC’s character in the manga please, for I’m just afraid of being disappointed and dropping out later and the anime.
