Briefly about Horimiya manga:
High school student Hori at first glance seems to be an outstanding student: she learns well. And knows how to find common language with others and radiates cheerfulness. However, outside of school, the mask falls off. In fact, the main character simply can not lead a normal life of a teenager. She is too busy with domestic duties. While parents who are obsessed with their work are constantly late. Hori is forced to clean, cook, and educate her younger brother. She has no real friends who would know about her real hard life.

However, one day, taking her younger brother out of school, the girl faces her classmate Izumi Miyamura. This little incident makes them talk, and soon the teenagers realize that they have a lot in common. Miyamura, like Hori, hides her real identity. At school he seems like a typical otaku, quiet and not interested in talking. But outside of school he loves piercing and tattooing and is very friendly. Classmates quickly get closer, of course, without revealing their connection in the school.
Hori tries to seem like an ordinary high school girl, when in fact she devotes all her time to taking care of the house. Due to the constant absence of her workaholic parents, the girl has to replace her younger brother with her family, cleaning, laundry, and other household chores. One day, she meets a man who, just like her, tries not to reveal his real side of himself at school: Miyamura, a silent guy with glasses. Now the two of them have someone to share and reveal their real selves with, without fear of the school finding out.
