Briefly about Get Schooled manga:

Hwajin Na’s mentor strategies are quite fierce for somebody that operates in the Ministry of Education. What to do when classrooms get out of hand. When a student with the patronage of wealthy parents trashes the teacher (at best). And knows for sure that he won’t get anything? What should we do if the teacher is already overstepping the bounds of personal space and simple human respect? Scold them and give them an educational talk? That even sounds ridiculous. Close your eyes and pretend like nothing is going on? This is the option most often using.

In this story, the author, in the person of Hwa Jin, brings a counterbalance to the school in the form of physical punishment. The inevitability of which everyone eventually learns. A kind of balance of blow and blowback. When the instigator gets a full panama of consequences. He gets screwing. But only when the world around him begins to move and suddenly it turns out that (what a twist!). Everyone is equal before the law and so is he. The author argues with himself about the possibility / the impossibility of punishment and their limits. He makes arguments for and against. But he also shows ugly and sadly what happens when everything is left to chance.

I was able to read only a chapter and a half. But it’s possible that I’m deeply mistaking about how the story will unfold. And it is quite possible that I am deeply mistaking about how the plot will develop further. But the actions of the main character and his contradictory statements inspired me to a better and more optimistic perception of this narrative.
